The BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund’s Annual Burn Awareness Week (BAW) program is available online.   It is designed to teach kids to be responsible for their own safety, and help make their families aware of potentially harmful situations.

Public and private elementary schools in British Columbia, parents, students – anyone – can access the program, which includes burn awareness safety tip information, student activity sheets, colouring pages, and animated videos.   The BAW program is available in PDF format for easy download and printing.

In 2008 two Public Service Announcements (PSA)were produced by Global BC TV. The PSAs were translated into French, Cantonese, Mandarin and Punjabi by Channel M Multivision TV.

The production of the new Public Service Announcements (PSAs) is made possible through support from Capilano Suspension Bridge and the RBC Foundation.
