Sweet Leilani Cosmetics
Since 1999, Sweet Leilani Cosmetics has worked on a referral basis with the Occupational Therapists and Nurses from the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
LeiLani is one of the few certified paramedical makeup artists in Canada. She volunteers her time through a program called Face the Future, which teaches burn survivors how to cover scarring with a special product she developed for this specific need. All makeovers are free, and fifteen percent of the sales for the corrective cover foundation product within the Sweet Leilani line is donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn & Plastic Surgery Unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
