Poster Contest Winners 2008

Grand Prize Winner

Kelly, Grade 3, from the Kootenay Region's Nelson Christian Community School designed a poster titled
'Hot Pots Burn Tots’. 

Nelson Fire Fighters Local 1343 presented Kelly with a $1,000 cheque for her school, a Dalmatian dog toy and her class will enjoy a pizza party, provided by Panago Pizza. Kelly also received a plaque from the Burn Fund, a t-shirt and her poster framed to applaud her efforts in fire safety awareness.

These students won $500 for their school, a Dalmatian dog toy and a pizza party for their class, provided by Panago Pizza.

Judging
Judging took place at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown, Vancouver.  The Old Spaghetti Factory is a Burn Fund Platinum sponsor.
