Rogers Santa Claus Parade
- Bright Nights in Stanley Park Parade Float

Bright Nights in Stanley Park — The Vancouver Park Board and BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund Bright Nights in Stanley Park float participated in the first annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade on Sunday, November 21 and the second annual Burnaby Edmonds Lions Santa Claus Parade Saturday, November 27. The float won first place in the Burnaby parade.

Thanks to all who decorated and worked so hard... Trucks provided by Teamsters Local 31, driven by Larry Sargeant and Dave Mitchell, flatbed for the float provided by Shadowline Transportation Group ... Vancouver Fire Fighters Local 18 for housing the float while it was being decorated; Burnaby Fire Fighters Local 323 for storing the float until the Burnaby parade.

Sincere thanks to Dotty Kanke of Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House for heading up the decorating team. Thanks also to all the people who donated their time to make the float a huge success. Special thanks to the young children who rode on the float and the people who participated in the parades.

The Rogers Santa Claus parade collected nearly 4,000 kg of food for Greater Vancouver Food Bank and 1,200 toys for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
