Kylee Bowman donated $350 to the Burn Fund Building Education Component. This is the second year in a row that Kylee has requested money for her birthday, instead of presents, so that she could make a donation to the Burn Survivors and the Burn Fund.
Last year Kylee raised $51.22.

Gurwin, a young burn survivor, spoke at the annual Mayor's Gala in Surrey,
telling the audience of 700 people about the difference Burn Camp and fire fighters
have made in his life. An anonymous donor gave Gurwin an electric guitar in
appreciation of his story after the event.

Thank You Kylie Davidson for your donation of $150
Kylie collected pop bottles and cans throughout the year to raise funds for the Burn Fund's Annual Summer Camp for young burn survivors. She asked that the money go towards bandages and medicine needed at camp.

Six-year-old Kylee donated $51.22 in cash from her birthday gifts. She says she didn't need the money and wanted it to go to people who don't have a place to stay when they are 'burnted' [sic]. The money is donated to the Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society, to be given to the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund Building. Surrey Captain Dan Paine, Fire Fighters Andy Schwartz, Jeff Klaassen and Chris Taylor visited Kylee's Kindergarten class at Pacific Academy to accept the donation.
