1st Annual Burn Fund 5K Run/Walk
The Running Room is sponsorsing a 5K Run/Walk for the Burn Fund at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 14 at sixteen locations in Metro Vancouver, the Okanagan and Vancouver Island.
Everyone is invited to participate in this fun event. Entry fee is $10 per person.

The 15th Annual Burn Camp
The Burn Fund hosts young burn survivors for a week at a camp located north of Squamish. Professional fire fighters, doctors, nurses, medical therapists and adult burn survivors donate their time as counselors. There is no cost for young burn survivors to attend camp.
Camper and Counselor applications will be available on line after March 31. |

Hosted by the Westside Professional Firefighters Association Local 4457 at the Shannon Lake Golf Course. Entry Fee: $150, includes golf with cart, dinner, prizes, transportation to and from course and one night stay at a hotel. International Association of Burn Camps Workshop
he BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund is hosting a four day workshop for Burn Camp Directors from across North America and overseas. The workshop will be held at the North Vancouver Outdoor School in Brackendale, BC, approximately an hour drive from Vancouver.
The Burn Fund, along with help from provincial fire fighter locals, will provide meals, accommodations, entertainment, and workshop topics relating to Burn Camps. It will be fun, informative and a great way to see what British Columbia has to offer.
